We were one of those people who have been affected by the sudden increase in interest rates, so when we found out about it, we decided to do the credit card debt consolidation. Our bank offers good fixed rates and so we jumped into it and we're so glad we did. Now, our motto is if we can't buy it cash, we shouldn't buy it all to keep us debt-free.
Since the beginning of last year, America's economy is slowly plummeting, and most poeple especially those that are deep into debt were caught off-guard. Good thing hubby and I made sure that we only get what we could pay and didn't put ourselves in that predicament. A lot of credit card companies though have raised their interest rates, fearing that the people who owe them money would just disappear and not pay them anymore.
